Terms of Participation & Community Agreement
1. Nature of the Mutual-Aid Collective
Funeral Share USA is an autonomous, non-profit community mutual-aid association established in accordance with principles of Islamic solidarity (Ta’awun). By applying for membership, you acknowledge that this program does not constitute an insurance policy, commercial financial contract, or commercial guarantee.
2. Member Responsibilities
Members pledge to provide accurate, truthful information regarding their household members, report deaths promptly with authentic legal certificates, and faithfully fulfill their modest mutual-aid assessments when brother or sister community members pass away.
3. Disbursal Limitations
All financial assistance is subject to the verification of eligibility, valid death documentation, and the availability of funds within the community pool. Approved funds are paid directly to licensed service providers (funeral homes and cemeteries).
4. Termination & Withdrawal
A member may withdraw their household at any time by written notice. Contributions previously disbursed to assist deceased community members are considered non-refundable charitable donations (Tabarru’) made for the sake of Allah.
